Campground Views powered by RecPro announced the rollout of an updated website and proprietary Trip Planner engine designed for RV travelers, adding expanded campground search capabilities, RV-safe routing, and interactive virtual tours to its platform.
The upgraded system integrates more than 24,000 points of interest and over 3,600 360-degree virtual campsite tours aimed at helping travelers inspect campsites, terrain, and clearance limits before making reservations. The platform recorded a 50% week-over-week increase in active users during its soft-launch phase.
According to the company, the updated platform combines search algorithms, RV-specific routing tools, and localized recommendations into a single interface for trip planning and campground discovery.
“The integration of true spatial datasets with RV-specific routing parameters changes the paradigm entirely,” one camper using the system said in a press release. “This is now better than Google Maps.”
The upgraded search architecture allows users to filter campgrounds by dimensional specifications, power configurations, and amenity availability. Campground Views also introduced an RV-safe routing engine designed to account for clearance restrictions, weight limits, and terrain conditions during route planning.
Additional features include a localized social engagement system intended to allow campers to share travel advice and road updates in real time.
Alongside the consumer-facing updates, Campground Views launched new tools for campground owners and resort operators, including a self-service business portal that allows operators to claim and verify park listings.
The company said verified operators gain access to consumer traffic metrics, interaction histories, and review management capabilities through a data analytics dashboard.
Campground Views also introduced a self-service advertising platform that enables campground operators to launch localized marketing campaigns with adjustable budgets.
The platform update was developed with sponsorship support from RecPro. Campground Views also identified launch advertisers, including Love’s Travel Stops, Truma, Garnet Instruments, Gen-Y Hitch, and Hughes Autoformers.
Campground Views described the new platform architecture as scalable and said additional enhancements are expected in the coming months.
