Campground Owners Expo Introduces Per-Person Pricing, Launches COE Advantage Program

The Campground Owners Expo (COE) announced a revised pricing structure for its 2026 event, shifting to a per-person registration model and introducing COE Advantage, a new optional, year-round program aimed at extending value for campground owners beyond the annual Expo.

The changes mark a strategic update as COE enters its sixth year, with organizers positioning the new pricing and program structure as a way to improve flexibility, equity, and long-term benefits for campground operators of varying sizes.

Beginning with the 2026 Expo, standard event registration will be priced at $129 per person. The revised model replaces the previous flat-rate structure and allows campgrounds to register only the number of attendees they plan to send.

According to COE, the per-person approach is intended to create a more balanced cost structure for both small and large parks while maintaining access to the event’s full educational and networking offerings.

“The original flat-rate pricing served us well in the early years of COE,” said Danielle Todd, COE event coordinator.

“As the Expo has grown, we felt it was important to adopt a structure that better reflects the value each attendee receives while remaining accessible — especially for small and independent parks.”

All registrations will continue to include three and a half days of programming, featuring nearly 50 education sessions focused on practical and actionable insights for campground owners and operators.

Registered attendees will also have access to networking opportunities throughout the event, along with an expo hall showcasing products and services tailored to campground operations.

Meals and hosted events remain part of the standard registration and include an Opening Morning Kickoff Breakfast, a Welcome Reception Dinner on the first evening, expo-floor appetizers, and additional food and hospitality offerings during the event.

Alongside the pricing update, COE announced the launch of COE Advantage, an optional program priced at $199 per year, per park, designed to provide ongoing value outside the annual Expo.

COE Advantage includes one complimentary COE registration valid for the same year as enrollment, along with discounted registration for additional attendees at $99 per person.

Additional benefits of the program include access to Hospitality Connections benefits, such as national discount programs available to campground owners, as well as future perks introduced through new partnerships.

COE Advantage is designed to complement existing state and national campground associations rather than replace them, with a focus on education, peer connection, and practical operational benefits.

The program also creates an added support channel for campground owners in states without an active campground association, offering access to discounts, education, and industry connections that may otherwise be limited.

“COE has always been about collaboration,” said Lori Severson, owner of COE. “When COE, state associations, and national organizations all work together, we strengthen campground operations and improve the guest experience across the industry.”

More information about the updated pricing and COE Advantage program is expected to be released in the coming days. Registration for the 2026 Campground Owners Expo is scheduled to open online Monday, January 5, by 10 a.m. Central Standard Time.
