Campers Inn RV Completes Acquisition of Lazydays, Expands to 51 Locations

Campers Inn RV, a family-operated RV dealership group, completed the acquisition of Lazydays RV on November 26.

The transaction includes the takeover of operations in Tucson, Arizona; Ramsey, Minnesota; Johnstown, Colorado; Knoxville, Tennessee; St. George, Utah; Wilmington, Ohio; and Seffner, Florida.

This acquisition marks a major consolidation event in the industry, expanding the Campers Inn RV nationwide presence to 51 dealership locations across 22 states.

Under the integration plan, the three acquired Airstream locations will maintain their current branding, while most other locations have transitioned to the Campers Inn RV brand.

The Seffner, Florida, dealership will be the only facility to retain the legacy name, operating as “Lazydays RV, powered by Campers Inn RV.”

Campers Inn RV has committed to revitalizing the Tampa-area facility by reopening its campground, hosting customer rallies, and enhancing service capabilities.

According to a press release, Jeff Hirsch, CEO of Campers Inn RV, framed the acquisition as a measure to protect the broader health of the market.

“When we looked at the Lazydays acquisition, it wasn’t just about expanding our footprint,” Jeff said. “It was about strengthening the resilience of the entire RV community. We saw a challenge that could have affected not just one company but the industry at large.”

He added that the move is intended to ensure stability and trust for partners and customers.

Ben Hirsch, COO of Campers Inn RV, also noted the speed at which the transaction was finalized.

“Closing a transaction of this size on such an aggressive timeline was incredibly challenging, and it only happened because of the people involved,” Ben said.

He emphasized that the company’s immediate focus is on operational execution and supporting the newly acquired teams.

“Now our job really begins, and we get to do what we do best, execute,” Ben Hirsch said. “Our focus is now on supporting our teams, investing in these stores, and delivering a consistent, high-quality experience for customers across the country.”

Looking ahead to 2026, Campers Inn RV plans further organic growth, with new dealership openings scheduled for Milford, Massachusetts; Washington, Pennsylvania; and a new Supercenter in Myrtle Beach.
