The Crescent City Harbor District and Crescent City Elks Lodge in California formed a new partnership aimed at revitalizing and promoting Redwood Harbor Village RV Park and Bayside RV Park.
The agreement marks a strategic effort to improve guest experience and occupancy at two sites that have faced long-standing maintenance and vacancy challenges.
According to an article published by Del Norte Triplicate, Redwood Harbor Village, formerly the Anchorage RV Park, has remained vacant for multiple years.
Bayside RV Park, though partially occupied, also experienced extended periods of disrepair. The partnership enables the Elks Lodge to assist with marketing efforts and offer members a 20% discount on RV space rentals at both locations.
Reservations for both parks will continue to be managed through the Harbor District’s NewBook platform.
“Reservations will be handled through the Harbor District’s NewBook, ensuring a seamless booking process while maintaining full control over pricing, availability and Polices,” CCHD Harbormaster Mike Rademaker explained.
The Elks Lodge is exploring the possibility of hiring a camp host to support on-site operations and guest services.
Additionally, volunteer-led projects are expected to play a key role in the initiative, with members contributing to landscaping, maintenance, and other beautification efforts at the parks.
“We look forward to building a long-lasting and successful partnership with The Harbor,” said Henry Geiger, from the Crescent City Lodge. “This collaboration provides an exciting opportunity for traveling Elks to relax and enjoy a beautiful, well-maintained destination while experiencing everything the Harbor has to offer.
“We’re proud to play a role in enhancing the RV parks and ensuring all guests feel welcome and comfortable during their stay,” Geiger added.
While the agreement does not include a fixed end date, either party may terminate the partnership with a 30-day notice. Both the Harbor District and the Elks Lodge expressed optimism about a lasting and mutually beneficial relationship.
