Coachella Lakes RV Resort in Coachella, California, is gearing up for a weekend of community, recreation, and gratitude with a full slate of Thanksgiving-themed activities from November 27 to 29.
The three-day event aims to bring together guests for shared experiences, from morning fitness events to festive socials.
The resort will begin its Thanksgiving weekend on Thursday, November 27, with two events that celebrate the holiday’s spirit of togetherness. Guests can join the Pumpkin Pie Social at 10 a.m. near the Pickleball Grass Area, followed by a guest-led Thanksgiving Potluck at 4 p.m. at Site 367.
Both activities invite participants to connect over food and conversation, reinforcing Coachella Lakes’ reputation as a community-centered destination for travelers and seasonal residents alike.

On Friday, November 28, guests can start their day with the Turkey Trot, meeting at 8 a.m. at the resort’s Pro Shop. The activity encourages participants to enjoy a fun, active start to the morning while taking in the resort’s scenic surroundings.
Later that morning, Thanksgiving-themed crafts will take place at 10 a.m. at the Pickleball Grass Area, offering creative engagement for families and children.
At 11:30 a.m., the same area will host a “DIY Fall Body Scrub” session for a small fee, where participants can create seasonal self-care products. This will be followed by a Rock Painting activity at 2 p.m., designed for all ages.
Saturday, November 29, will feature the Honorary Putting Tournament, running from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., giving golf enthusiasts a chance to enjoy friendly competition. The tournament is open to all guests and will take place throughout the day.

For those seeking more social activities, the Pickleball Courts will open early for an 8 a.m. Pickleball Social, inviting both experienced players and newcomers to join in casual matches.
The creative lineup continues at 11 a.m. with “Wild Tie Dye,” a paid activity held at the Pickleball Grass Area. Guests can bring their own items to customize or purchase materials onsite.
Throughout the weekend, Coachella Lakes will also host its “Hang Your Thanks” community wall at the Clubhouse, inviting guests to share notes of gratitude as part of the resort’s seasonal tradition.
Additionally, the Fishing Derby will take place all weekend long, offering opportunities for anglers of all skill levels to participate at their leisure.
