The new director, Jim Trombly, is a seasoned professional in the outdoor industry, having worked with notable brands such as Mountain Safety Research (MSR), Thermarest, Sierra Designs, and Patagonia over a span of 23 years. 

Trombly’s decision to join Big Agnes was driven by his passion for the outdoors and the products that enhance the outdoor experience, according to the company. He expressed his excitement about joining the Big Agnes family and relocating to the mountains. 

“It is exciting to become part of the Big Agnes family and relocate to the mountains. I have a passion for the outdoors and the products that compliment being out there, so earning an opportunity to work with such a well-known and driven brand like Big Agnes made for an easy decision,” Trombly said.

In addition to Trombly’s appointment, Big Agnes has also announced several promotions within its team. These promotions are a reflection of the individual achievements of its staff members and the overall growth of the company. 

Esther Drebelbis, previously a marketing specialist, has been promoted to brand manager. Kayt Gary, who has held various positions in the accounting department, has been promoted to director of finance. 

Katie Hughes, the former senior brand manager, is now the director of marketing. Alex Geller, who was the global operations manager, has been elevated to the position of director of operations.

Bill Gamber, the co-founder and president of Big Agnes, expressed his enthusiasm about these changes.
