Overland Expo West 2025 to Feature 400 Exhibitors, Hands-On Learning, and Community Events

Overland Expo West is set to return to Flagstaff, Arizona, from May 16 to 18, 2025, marking its continued presence as a leading event for the overlanding community in the United States.

The three-day event, hosted at Fort Tuthill County Park, will bring together more than 400 exhibitors and offer over 300 hours of educational programming, including over 150 classes, demonstrations, and roundtables.

Established in 2009, Overland Expo West is the flagship event of the five-part Overland Expo series and is recognized as the original gathering for overlanding enthusiasts.

The event continues to serve as a central meeting point for gear manufacturers, vehicle-based travel professionals, and outdoor adventurers.

According to Jessica Kirchner, vice president of Consumer Events and Show Director, “Overland Expo West is where this entire community began,” highlighting Flagstaff’s significance to the series.

This year’s programming will span a wide array of topics, including vehicle recovery techniques, wilderness first-aid, route planning, and content creation.

The event also includes community-focused programming such as the Overland Expo Film Festival sponsored by Krug Expedition on May 16 at 7 p.m., the Moto Party + Raffle sponsored by Rider Justice, and Toyota Game Night, which includes food, drinks, and a guest appearance by a mystery celebrity.

In addition, the Women Who Wander Networking event on May 17 will provide space for women in the overlanding community to connect and share experiences.

The Overland Expo Foundation Charity Raffle will also take place on May 17, offering attendees the opportunity to win gear from premium brands while contributing to charitable causes.

The 2025 event introduces several new and returning features, including the expansion of the Women Who Wander Pavilion, now present across the entire event series.

Kid-friendly programming is also increasing, with activities such as a remote-control (RC) course and sessions on visual storytelling.

The Hands-On Pavilion, sponsored by U-Haul International, returns with small-group training sessions focused on practical overlanding skills.

On-site camping at Fort Tuthill County Park will again be available, allowing attendees to stay within walking distance of all programming and activities.

Overland Expo West offers various ticketing options, including day passes, weekend passes, and camping packages. Organizers encourage early reservations as camping spots are expected to reach capacity.

To support attending media, a dedicated Media Room will be available, with sponsor-hosted luncheons provided by TROVOCA on May 16 and ROA OFF-ROAD on May 17.

Following the Flagstaff event, Overland Expo will continue its 2025 schedule with Overland Expo PNW in Redmond, Oregon, from June 27–29; Overland Expo Mountain West in Loveland, Colorado, from August 22–24; and Overland Expo East in Arrington, Virginia, from October 3–5.
