A new locally owned RV park is preparing to open this winter in Northern Arizona, offering modern amenities and easy access to outdoor attractions.
Flagstaff Mountain RV, located minutes from downtown Flagstaff and within driving distance of the Grand Canyon, aims to provide travelers with a comfortable, community-oriented camping experience.
“We created Flagstaff Mountain RV because we saw a need for something unique, meaningful, and personal – an RV park that felt less like a parking lot and more like a place to pause, breathe, and connect,” Arron Stump, owner of Flagstaff Mountain RV, said in a press release.
Stump said the concept was inspired by his family’s love of the outdoors and their desire to share Northern Arizona’s quiet beauty with others.
“As a family who loves the outdoors and calls Northern Arizona home, we wanted to share the quiet beauty of this place with others, whether they’re passing through or staying for a while,” he said. “For us, it’s about creating space for people to feel welcome, to explore, to connect, and to make lasting memories.”
The park is set to open in winter 2025, with a focus on combining comfort, connectivity, and nature. Guests will have access to full hookups, reliable high-speed Wi-Fi, and a range of modern amenities.
Facilities will include clean showers, laundry areas, and a general store stocked with local beer and wine. Stump said the goal is to create a welcoming space for all types of travelers, from families to solo vanlifers.
Flagstaff Mountain RV will also feature pet-friendly areas, giving campers the freedom to bring their four-legged companions along. Designed with convenience in mind, the park will offer direct access to Flagstaff’s trails, dining, and attractions.
Located among tall pines, the setting provides a peaceful backdrop while remaining close to the city’s entertainment and cultural offerings. The location allows guests to enjoy both the serenity of the forest and the vibrancy of Flagstaff’s downtown scene.
Early guests will be invited to participate in the Founding Guest Program, which includes perks such as complimentary nights, priority reservations, and a free camping kit.
