Lazydays Holdings announced the completion of its asset sale of the Mesa, Arizona dealership to General RV Center, marking the latter’s entry into the Arizona market.
The transaction is part of Lazydays’ previously disclosed plan to divest select locations as it works to optimize operations and streamline its dealership network.
The Mesa dealership becomes General RV’s first location in Arizona and adds to its growing national footprint, which now includes more than 20 locations across eight states.
Lazydays, a Nasdaq-listed company operating under the ticker GORV, stated that it expects to complete two additional divestitures, in Longmont, Colorado, and Fort Pierce, Florida, in the coming weeks.
“Introducing General RV to a new state is always exciting, and we have appreciated the collaboration by the Lazydays team to help us achieve this,” General RV CEO Loren Baidas, a third-generation family owner, said in a press release.
“Having seen great success with our two Utah Supercenters, we are looking forward to leveraging what we’ve learned there to provide the premier customer service and expansive RV selection to our new and existing customers in Arizona.”
Lazydays Interim CEO Ron Fleming also emphasized the strategic nature of the sale as part of the company’s ongoing operational turnaround.
“We have completed our previously announced asset sale of our location in Mesa, Arizona to General RV. This transaction furthers our commitment to rightsizing our dealership footprint and continuing our operational turnaround plan,” Fleming said.
“We are pleased with the expedient and smooth process and look forward to working with General RV to complete the remaining two divestitures,” Fleming added.
