Backland Luxury Camping Launches Summer Discount for Multi-Night Stays

Northern Arizona’s Backland Luxury Camping has launched a summer promotion to mark the official start of the season.

The “Escape the Heat” offer provides guests booking directly through the resort with 20% off each additional night after the first, for stays of up to six nights.

The limited-time promotion is intended to encourage visitors seeking a cooler summer getaway in the high-elevation region outside of Williams, Arizona.

Located at 7,000 feet above sea level, Backland Luxury Camping sits on 160 acres of private land and is surrounded by National Forest.

With average summer temperatures reaching the 80s Fahrenheit, the resort positions itself as a refuge from the heat for travelers across the Southwest.

The resort features ten luxury glamping tents, each outfitted with king-sized beds, panoramic windows, en-suite bathrooms, climate control, and eco-conscious amenities. Each unit also includes an outdoor patio, tentside parking, a mini-fridge, and coffee maker.

Dining is available on-site at a glass-walled restaurant that highlights seasonal dishes crafted from local ingredients, according to AZBigMedia

In addition to comfortable accommodations and dining, Backland offers guests a variety of on-property activities, including swimming or kayaking in a freshwater pond, exploring nature trails, playing frisbee golf, and participating in a family-friendly scavenger hunt.

In the evenings, guests can enjoy campfires, s’mores, and stargazing opportunities enhanced by the property’s remote location and lack of light pollution.

“Removed from the light pollution of the city, the night skies at Backland are one of the most starry nights,” according to the resort. Guests also have access to a telescope to view celestial features such as the moon’s craters and visible constellations.

Backland serves as a convenient base for travelers visiting the Grand Canyon, which is located approximately an hour away. The resort partners with Grand Canyon Adventures to provide private guided tours that depart directly from the property.

Additional excursions include Jeep tours through Sedona’s red rocks and helicopter flights over the canyon, offering diverse ways for guests to experience Northern Arizona’s natural landmarks.

For outdoor hospitality professionals, this promotion illustrates how glamping businesses can create seasonal value-added packages to increase the length of stay and drive direct bookings.

By combining elevated amenities, strategic partnerships with tour operators, and a focus on unique natural experiences, operators may be able to differentiate their offerings during peak travel periods.

Additionally, positioning a resort as a retreat from extreme temperatures could be a persuasive draw in regions impacted by summer heat waves.
