Aqua-Hot, a brand under AIRXCEL, introduced two heating systems at this year’s Airxcel New Product Showcase in Elkhart, Indiana. The showcase, held on October 16-17, provided a platform for Aqua-Hot to debut its Wave 40 heating system and Aqua-Hot Edge Tankless On-Demand Water Heater, both designed to enhance comfort and efficiency for RV owners.
The Wave 40, a patent-pending system, delivers 34,000 BTUs and boasts 10% more airflow compared to its predecessor, the Aqua-Hot Gen1. It features advanced controls, including Wi-Fi connectivity and multiple heating and air circulation fan speeds.
The unit is suitable for high altitudes, up to 15,000 feet, and is designed to offer on-demand hot water. Selma Salihagic, Aqua-Hot’s general manager, emphasized that the Wave 40 marks a significant leap forward in RV heating technology, offering both luxury and practicality to travelers.
At the showcase, Aqua-Hot also introduced the Aqua-Hot Edge Tankless On-Demand Water Heater. This product provides instant hot water at a set temperature tailored to the needs of RV owners. Its design reduces energy consumption by only activating when hot water is required, ensuring efficient use of resources. The unit is compact, fitting into standard 6-gallon water heater cutouts, and comes equipped with a wall-mount digital control center. Available in both doored and doorless models, the Aqua-Hot Edge promises convenience and ease of use for RV enthusiasts.
Salihagic expressed excitement over the launch of the new products, underscoring Aqua-Hot’s commitment to enhancing the RV experience. “The Wave 40 represents a massive jump in innovation compared to what exists in the market today and epitomizes Aqua-Hot’s commitment to innovation in luxury RV heating,” she said.
“We are also excited to announce the release of the Aqua-Hot Edge Tankless On Demand Water Heater. This state-of-the-art product includes a recirculating loop, guaranteeing that hot water is always available, providing an almost ‘instant hot’ experience. No more wasting precious on-board water while waiting for the spigot to heat up,” Salihagic noted.
