Applications are now open for the 2025 NCM Associates-Duane Spader Leadership Development Scholarship, administered by the Mike Molino RV Learning Center in partnership with NCM Associates.
The program was created to honor Duane Spader’s longstanding commitment to leadership and professional growth within the RV industry.
The scholarship, which has been awarded annually since 2015, is available to employees of any RVDA dealer member.
It provides access to training and consulting programs through NCM Associates, with a value estimated between $10,000 and $13,000. The application deadline is October 10, 2025. Interested applicants can apply here.
The selected recipient will collaborate with Mark Spader of NCM Associates to customize their professional development path.
Candidates may choose three out of five program options designed for leadership and operational improvement: Total Management 1, Total Management 2, Built to Perform, the Fixed Operations Package (including Service Foundations & Management Financials and Parts & Accessories Management), and four remote customized coaching sessions.

To be considered, applicants must submit a 500–1,000-word essay explaining how participation will benefit their career, dealership, and the broader RV industry.
At least one letter of recommendation from an industry professional is required, though two or three are preferred. A recent professional photo for promotional use must also be included.
Applications will be reviewed by a selection committee evaluating essays, recommendations, and demonstrated leadership potential.
The winner will be announced at RVPro’s 40 Under 40 Reception during the 2025 RVDA Convention/Expo at Paris Las Vegas on Tuesday, November 11, at 7:00 p.m.

For RV dealership owners and managers, the scholarship represents more than an individual opportunity. It supports workforce development by preparing employees for leadership roles, potentially strengthening succession planning and improving operational performance across dealerships.
Encouraging staff to apply could not only advance their careers but also contribute to long-term dealership success.
The scholarship continues the legacy of Duane Spader, founder of Spader Business Management, whose career emphasized the importance of leadership development and lifelong learning in the RV sector.
Through initiatives like this, the Mike Molino RV Learning Center and NCM Associates aim to equip RV professionals with the tools necessary to adapt to evolving business challenges and maintain a competitive edge in the industry.
