Graham Farm and Nature Center in Alabama introduced a new glamping experience by featuring a handmade Conestoga Wagon from Conestoga Wagon Co, a glamping manufacturer based in Idaho.
The Conestoga Wagon, a mix of rustic design and modern amenities, will be a permanent fixture at the Graham Farm and Nature Center. Known for their quality and handmade designs, Conestoga Wagon Co. aims to offer a memorable glamping experience in the region.
According to a press release, the Graham Farm and Nature Center serves as an educational outreach location for the Alabama Cooperative Extension System, a collaborative effort between Alabama A&M and Auburn Universities.
The introduction of the Conestoga Wagon is also part of a broader initiative to provide companies and organizations with a unique venue for retreats and team-building events. By offering such distinctive accommodations, the center hopes to attract a diverse range of visitors looking for both leisure and educational opportunities.
Themika Sims, director of the Graham Farm and Nature Center, spearheaded this initiative. Sims believes the Paint Rock Valley offers an alternative to more commercialized destinations like Gatlinburg.

Another offering of Conestoga Wagon Co is luxurious cabins. Built with a robust full-metal frame for durability, these cabins include solar power options, ANSI code compliance, RV hookups, and easy transportation by forklift.
Bookings for the Conestoga Wagon will be available to the public beginning in July. Guest can make reservations through the Graham Farm and Nature Center’s Facebook page or by calling 245-453-0716. Additionally, an online booking platform is also in development to streamline the reservation process.
