Airxcel unveiled a new lineup of windows and window shade solutions from its brands—MCD Innovations, Cleer Vision Windows, and United Shade—during its 2025 New Product Showcase held in Elkhart, Indiana.
The products are designed to enhance light control, privacy, and style in RVs, catering to evolving consumer and manufacturer preferences.
“At Airxcel, we remain focused on advancing the RV experience through continual innovation,” Anthony Wollschlager, Airxcel’s president and CEO, said in a press release.
“The latest products featured at our New Product Showcase by MCD, United Shade and Cleer Vision demonstrate our commitment to developing solutions shaped by real world feedback from both RV builders and end users, ensuring our offerings meet the evolving demands and preferences of the industry,” Wollschlager added.
MCD Innovations introduced several new roller shade solutions aimed at delivering flexibility, comfort, and safety. The company’s 15mm Motorized Roller Shade features a compact, solar-powered design with control options, including switch, remote, and battery versions—ideal for compact RVs and camper vans.
The All-In-One Roller Shade also combines a privacy shade, bug screen, side channels, and valance in a single unit. Designed for easy installation, it offers users flexibility for partial protection or open views while meeting FMVSS 302 fire-retardant standards.
Another addition, the Projector Screen Shade, transforms interior RV spaces into entertainment areas. The blackout roller shade offers a cinema-quality viewing experience, merging functionality and leisure for travelers.
Cleer Vision Windows showcased its latest frameless and custom window systems engineered to balance modern aesthetics with durability. The Frameless Full-View Windows maximize outdoor visibility while using tempered glass to ensure strength and weather resistance.
The brand’s custom-shaped and sized windows are designed to accommodate varying RV layouts, from curved to nonrectangular configurations. These are manufactured to tight tolerances for quick turnaround times and reliable performance.
Cleer Vision’s new weather-resistant sealing technology also aims to protect against moisture and drafts, helping maintain interior comfort and longevity.
United Shade also presented a range of next-generation window treatments designed for quick installation and contemporary appeal. The Horizon All-in-One Shade integrates a dual-shade system with aluminum framing and a magnetic latch, requiring only four screws for installation.
The Add On Valance System enhances the aesthetics of United Shade’s E Series Roller and Pleated Shades. Available in black, grey, and shell, it provides a cost-effective upgrade option for RV builders and owners.
New fabric options for roller and pleated shades were also introduced. The Baseline Roller Shade Fabrics come in textured blackout designs, while the Cambric Pleated Shade Fabric offers opaque, flame-retardant material in several designer colors.
The E-Series Roller Shades, made of blackout polyester fabric, also deliver improved privacy, UV protection, and heat reduction. Optional reflective backing and slow-up spring mechanisms enhance customization and ease of use.
