AGA Glamping Business Spotlight Set for May 27 to Feature Interactive Industry Panel and Live Q&A

The AGA Glamping Business Spotlight will return Wednesday, May 27, at 10 a.m. Mountain Standard Time, with organizers shifting the format to a more conversational session described as “less presentation, more conversation.”

The event will focus on interactive discussion centered on the people, ideas, and expertise shaping the future of glamping and outdoor hospitality. The session is intended to encourage direct engagement between operators, vendors, and other industry participants.

The program will feature real-time insights from industry professionals, along with lessons learned and perspectives from different parts of the outdoor hospitality sector.

An audience question-and-answer segment will also be included.

According to the announcement, discussion topics will include growth, operational challenges, financing, travel trends, guest experience, and broader industry dynamics.

The panel lineup includes HoneyTrek, a travel storytelling platform founded by Anne and Mike Howard, known for documenting “The World’s Longest Honeymoon” and expanding into a global travel resource covering destinations across all seven continents.

Kathleen Walsh will also participate. She is described as a leader in outdoor hospitality with experience in campground planning, revenue maximization, and park management through Advanced Outdoor Solutions, which is noted for its work in introducing technology to the sector.

Nick Parker, vice president on the RV park and campsite lending team at Live Oak Bank, will join the discussion, focusing on financing for independent parks, including acquisitions, construction, and development projects.

Paul Bosley, founder and managing partner of Business Finance Depot, will contribute perspectives on business financing and expansion for operators and is also a speaker and industry writer.

Matt Small, a professional landscape architect and planner with more than 20 years of experience in hospitality and destination development, will provide insight into planning, design execution, and project development frameworks.
