AEONrv, a Reno-based recreational vehicle manufacturer, has been named the 2025 Manufacturing Company of the Year by Nevada’s Center for Entrepreneurship and Technology.
The award recognizes the company’s innovation in advanced manufacturing and its contribution to Northern Nevada’s economy.
Each year, NCET honors businesses that advance Nevada’s technology landscape through innovation, collaboration, and sustainable growth.
AEONrv stood out among this year’s nominees for its engineering-driven approach to RV design, emphasizing locally based manufacturing and high-performance off-grid capabilities.
“Winning the NCET Manufacturing Company of the Year award is a big milestone for us,” Jim Ritchie, CEO of AEONrv, said in a press release.
“It validates our commitment to building something bold and new—not just for the RV market, but for Nevada’s future as a center for innovation and high-tech manufacturing,” Ritchie added.
AEONrv’s flagship model, built on a Ford Transit chassis, merges rugged all-terrain capability with marine-grade materials and advanced energy systems.
The design targets modern outdoor travelers seeking off-road durability and year-round comfort in a compact, high-tech platform.
Operating out of a 70,000-square-foot facility in Reno, AEONrv has expanded rapidly since its founding in 2021.
The company employs more than 50 people and has produced over 60 vehicles to date.
According to the press release, it expects to deliver at least 100 units by the end of 2025.
AEONrv has also prioritized workforce development and educational partnerships. The company collaborates with the University of Nevada, Reno’s Mechanical Engineering Program and Manufacture Nevada to provide students with hands-on internships in systems integration and product engineering.
