Traveland RV Kelowna Reports Strong RV Demand Heading Into 2025 Travel Season

Traveland RV Kelowna is reporting strong demand for recreational vehicles in 2025, as more Canadians turn to domestic travel options amid rising costs in other sectors of the tourism industry.

With the busy season approaching, the dealership has expanded its inventory in anticipation of heightened interest from consumers seeking RV-based vacations.

“Traveland took a risk, and as soon as we saw how much Canadians were embracing RV life, we loaded up with inventory,” said Tyler Steel, general manager of Traveland RV Kelowna.

The dealership, part of a broader Traveland RV network that includes six other locations across Western Canada, has seen a positive start to the year.

Steel noted that adventure vans, such as the Entegra Ethos, are gaining traction with buyers, and the company is also seeing growth in the family segment.

“That’s a rising segment right now,” Steel said. “As well we’re seeing a lot of young families get into the RV market, where they can get a brand new bunk model for under 24,000 dollars, which is under seven dollars a day.”

To further stimulate interest, Traveland RV Kelowna is launching its Camping Daze event on May 3. The promotion includes a premium battery upgrade with new purchases, special offers on parts, and a barbecue lunch.

Additionally, for the entire month of May, buyers of bunk models will receive a complimentary camping starter kit valued at $500 as part of the dealership’s Bunk Model Freedom and Adventure Sale.

As travel within Canada continues to be a preferred option for many, RV dealerships like Traveland are positioning themselves to meet evolving consumer needs.

For campground operators, RV park owners, and glamping businesses, this uptick in domestic RV sales presents an opportunity to attract and retain a growing customer base.

Enhancing facilities for families and adventure van travelers could align well with these emerging trends.

“People are wanting to stay in Canada and keep their money in Canada,” said Steel in a report by Castanet. “With the rising cost of air travel, people are pretty tuned into that. Even hotels are crazy expensive. It’s a reasonable holiday.”

Traveland RV is recognized as North America’s largest Open Range dealer. The West Kelowna location holds a 4.7-star rating from more than 1,000 Google reviews.
