Sara Hey to Lead Business Workshops at 2025 RV Dealers Convention/Expo

Sara Hey, president of Bob Clements International, will lead three workshops at the 2025 RV Dealers Convention/Expo, scheduled for Nov. 10-14. Her sessions will focus on dealership growth, process improvement, and strengthening collaboration across departments.

Hey is a frequent speaker at RV industry events and is recognized for her work in helping dealerships implement efficient processes and improve staff performance.

She will present two workshops in the fixed operations track and one in the dealer/general manager track on Nov. 13.

The first session, “Can’t We All Just Get Along?: How to Help Your Parts & Service Departments,” will begin at 8 a.m. The workshop will address communication breakdowns and misaligned expectations between parts and service teams that can cost dealerships both time and revenue.

Hey will outline shared processes that can reduce friction and improve cooperation.

At noon, Hey will lead “Should You Open Another Location?” aimed at dealer principals and general managers evaluating expansion opportunities.

She will present six key questions designed to assess the viability of opening a new location, along with strategies used by top-performing multi-location dealers.

Her third workshop, “Turning Your Parts Department into a Bank Vault,” will take place at 1:15 p.m. This session will provide parts managers and fixed operations leaders with strategies to increase profitability, including pricing models, inventory management to compete with online sellers, and methods for enhancing customer service while improving margins.

According to a press release, the RV Dealers Convention/Expo brings together dealership professionals from across North America to share best practices, explore business solutions, and build industry connections. The event includes an expo where attendees can meet with vendors and potential business partners.

Organized by the RV Dealers Association (RVDA), the convention offers targeted education sessions for all dealership departments, with an emphasis on operational efficiency and customer experience.

The 2025 event will again be held at Paris Las Vegas, providing a central location for networking, education, and exhibitor engagement

Sponsors for the convention include RVDA of the U.S., RVDA of Canada, and the Mike Molino RV Learning Center. These organizations support ongoing dealer education and professional development through training programs, resources, and events.
