The RV Industry Association’s (RVIA) Regulatory & Safety Compliance Seminar returns for its 10th year, continuing a decade-long effort to educate and engage RV professionals on critical compliance issues.
This year’s event, complimentary for RVIA members, is scheduled for Wednesday, July 30, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. ET at the Lerner Theatre in Elkhart, Indiana.
According to a News and Insights report of RVIA, registration is now open through July 25 for the half-day seminar, which features a keynote presentation and multiple panels of industry experts.
The event is designed for professionals with compliance or safety responsibilities, as well as those seeking to deepen their understanding of safety and recall procedures in the RV sector.
This year’s panelists include compliance and legal professionals from leading RV manufacturers and service firms. Among them are Mike Becker, head of compliance at Forest River, and Curtis Carlson, co-owner and vice president of dealer services at Alliance RV.
Other attendees include Von Lindsey, owner of Lindsey Research Services, and David Mihalick, vice president of vehicle safety and regulatory compliance at THOR Industries.
Also speaking are Troy Cornell, director of product safety and compliance at Winnebago Industries, and Christie Iannetta, a partner at Nelson Mullins.
Rounding out the lineup are David Stevenson, quality team leader at ATC Trailers, and Tom Lancaster, enterprise lead field investigator for product safety and compliance at Winnebago Industries.
