The RV Women’s Alliance Charitable Foundation (RVWACF) announced the successful completion of its all-female RV systems training class, held in partnership with Brinkley RV in Goshen, Indiana.
The hands-on course brought together women from various departments at Brinkley for a weeklong training focused on essential RV systems, as part of the alliance’s broader mission to educate and promote women in the RV industry.
Conducted at Brinkley RV’s manufacturing facility, the program offered technical instruction in electrical, propane, plumbing, and appliance systems.
Participants worked in a collaborative environment while gaining foundational knowledge designed to help them grow professionally and contribute more effectively to their teams.
Brittany Raderstorf of Brinkley RV, who championed the initiative, emphasized the long-term value of investing in employee training.
“Investing in training opportunities is about more than just learning technical skills; it’s about empowering our team to grow in confidence, capability, and connection to the RVs we build,” Raderstorf said in a press release.
“It was important to me that we support this initiative because continuous learning fuels innovation, and this training gave our team in-depth knowledge that will benefit their work and the customer experience,” Raderstorf added.
Led by RV Technical Institute Master Certified Technician Jessica Rider, the course was designed to give participants both theoretical understanding and practical experience.
“This class is more than technical education—it’s reassurance that women will thrive in every corner of this industry, including the more technical areas,” Rider said.
“Watching these women dive into systems training with enthusiasm and drive has been truly inspiring,” Rider added.
Participants who passed the final exam earned their RVTI Level 1 Certification, a credential that can open doors to future roles within the industry.
With the training now complete, the RV Women’s Alliance plans to expand the program in 2025 to new locations with an updated curriculum.
