RoverPass has launched a new feature aimed at helping campground and RV park owners increase bookings ahead of the summer season.
The company unveiled Promo Codes on May 19, a tool designed to give owners more flexibility and control in offering discounts directly through the RoverPass reservation system.
According to a press release, the new functionality was developed in response to customer feedback. Campground owners expressed a need for a simple way to create and manage custom promotions without relying on third-party tools or workarounds.
“This launch reflects our commitment to customer-led innovation,” said Michelle Smith, CEO of RoverPass.
“Owners told us they needed smarter tools to fill sites without giving up control of their pricing. Promo Codes is the result of that feedback, and it is built to meet the real needs of campground businesses,” Smith noted.
Promo Codes allows owners to set public or private discounts, ideal for everything from broad marketing efforts to targeted offers for repeat guests or event participants.
All promo creation and tracking is handled in the RoverPass Owner Portal and integrates with its existing reservation platform.
Campground operators can choose between dollar or percentage discounts, apply restrictions based on day of the week, set expiration dates, and limit usage. Each promo can also be labeled to help owners monitor and organize their promotions.
“We wanted this to be flexible, not just functional,” said Melisa Chang, marketing director at RoverPass.
“Owners can reward returning guests, offer special access for events, or run a quick flash promo for the weekend. It is all about giving them more control, especially during the busy summer months,” she added.
Use cases already emerging include weekday incentives to boost midweek occupancy, private codes for returning guests, and seasonal discounts promoted via social media and email newsletters.
The Promo Codes tool is included in RoverPass’s All-In-One Reservation Software and is one of several updates rolled out in the first half of 2025.
The company says each new feature is developed to help campground businesses adapt to guest expectations and improve revenue.
