Roadtrippers, a road trip planning app in North America, is offering travelers free access to its full suite of premium features from May 16 through May 18.
The “Free Preview Weekend” marks the company’s first promotion of its kind, aligning with the start of peak travel season.
The limited-time event gives users the chance to explore Roadtrippers Premium at no cost, including features such as Autopilot, an AI-powered planner that builds customized road trip itineraries in seconds using data from more than 38 million past trips.
The company said the promotion is geared toward all types of travelers, from weekend explorers to full-time RVers.
Premium features include vehicle-specific routing, RV tools, campground booking, and more, helping users plan trips that suit their travel preferences and vehicle types.
“We’re making it easier than ever to plan unforgettable road trips,” Robyn Barnes, chief commercial officer at Roadtrippers, said in a press release.
“This free preview is a chance for anyone to experience the magic of features like Autopilot, collaborative planning, vehicle-specific navigation, and more – all designed to take the stress out of the open road,” Barnes added.
During the Free Preview Weekend, users will have access to tools that support smarter and more flexible planning, including routing tailored to cars, vans, and RVs, as well as integrations with Campendium and Autio. Campendium provides listings for campgrounds, RV parks, and boondocking locations, while Autio offers more than 23,000 location-based audio stories.
To date, Roadtrippers has powered more than 38 million trips across seven million points of interest, helping users navigate over 42 billion miles. The app is designed to streamline discovery, planning, booking, and navigation into a single digital platform.
