Priority One Financial Services will host a workshop focused on developing essential management skills during the 2025 RV Dealers Convention/Expo, set to take place Nov. 10–14 at Paris Las Vegas.
The session, titled “Managerial Skills for Success,” is scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 12, from 4:15 to 5:15 p.m. as part of the dealer/general manager education track.
The workshop will be led by Nicole Armstrong, vice president of corporate initiatives, and Markle Janner, director of operations.
Both leaders will share actionable strategies dealership managers can implement to strengthen team performance, reduce turnover, and drive business outcomes.
Armstrong and Janner will outline practical tools for hiring, coaching, and retaining top talent—approaches that have supported Priority One’s recognition as a Top Workplace six times. Their session aims to provide attendees with a structured framework for improving personnel decisions and leadership effectiveness.
Key topics include creating a repeatable hiring process and using behavioral interviewing techniques to assess candidate potential.
The presenters will also cover how to incorporate behavioral assessments into talent evaluations to support long-term development.
Additional strategies include designing compensation structures and sales performance incentive funds (SPIFFs) that align with dealership goals and employee motivation.
Participants will also be introduced to the TALK coaching model—Target, Action, Learning, and Knowledge—as a method for holding productive performance discussions.
The workshop is part of a broader curriculum aimed at helping dealership professionals enhance operations across departments. The 2025 Convention/Expo will feature sessions on fixed operations, sales performance, and leadership development, offering resources tailored to current industry demands.
“The convention allows North America’s top dealership personnel to forge valuable connections with peers, industry leaders, and potential business partners in the Expo. Dealership professionals can expand their network and gain insights from the best in the RV industry,” the association indicates.
The Convention/Expo is jointly sponsored by RVDA of the U.S., RVDA of Canada, and the Mike Molino RV Learning Center. The agenda is designed by dealers, for dealers, with input from industry stakeholders on the most pressing issues facing RV businesses.
Exhibitors and vendors will also have opportunities to connect with attendees in the Expo Hall, a central feature of the convention that supports business development and relationship building.
