These professionals, from campground managers to guest experience experts, have demonstrated innovation, hands-on leadership, and a deep commitment to elevating the guest experience.

Selected from among 2025 Campspot Award-winning properties, this year’s honorees are shaping the future of camping through forward-thinking strategies, environmental stewardship, and unmatched service.

“These individuals are setting a new standard for excellence in outdoor hospitality,” said Ellie Burke, senior marketing manager at Campspot. “They lead with heart, innovation, and a clear vision for the future of camping.”

According to a press release, the 2025 Campground Revolutionaries include Damien Kenyon, operations manager at Ucluelet Campground in British Columbia, Canada, who is championing eco-conscious camping through guest-centered upgrades and sustainability initiatives; and Kendall Slowe, general manager of Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park Camp-Resort: Golden Valley in North Carolina, who is blending safety, service, and innovation to deliver award-winning campground experiences.

Joan Muller, campground manager at Dixon Landing RV Resort in North Carolina, is also setting the standard for hands-on leadership and heartfelt hospitality. 

Cathy Wall, camp host at Broad River Campground in North Carolina, is bringing joy, hard work, and personal care to every guest interaction. Marion Calhoun, front office manager at Pacific Playgrounds Oceanside Resort in British Columbia, Canada, is also the operations powerhouse behind seamless guest experiences and efficient processes.

In North Carolina, Adrienne Combs, guest experience manager at RiverWalk RV Park, is turning ordinary stays into unforgettable memories through thoughtful service. Riley Mitchell, destination experience coordinator at Boothbay RV Resort in Maine, is also a problem-solver and guest favorite whose dedication is redefining campground excellence.
