Pettycur Bay Holiday Park’s Annual Caravan Show Returns This May

Pettycur Bay Holiday Park is set to host its Annual Caravan Show on May 24 and 25, bringing together the local community, holidaymakers, and prospective buyers for a weekend that combines entertainment with caravan sales.

Held at the Kinghorn-based holiday park in Fife, the event is positioned as both a customer appreciation gathering and an opportunity for potential owners to view a range of new and used holiday homes.

This year’s showcase will feature a selection of new 2025 caravan models from manufacturers Carnaby and Victory.

In addition, Pettycur Bay Holiday Park will offer limited remaining stock of new caravans from 2023 and 2024, which will be available at discounted prices.

A variety of pre-owned, ready-sited caravans will also be on display, providing options for buyers at different price points.

According to The Edinburgh Reporter, the Annual Caravan Show is structured around a weekend-long schedule of family-friendly entertainment.

Events will begin on Friday evening with a performance by children’s entertainer Magic Al from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m., followed by live music from local band The Frets from 8:00 to 11:00 p.m.

Saturday and Sunday daytime programming, scheduled from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., includes a barbecue, face painting, a silent disco, and a range of games and activities such as a bouncy castle, rodeo bull, magic mirror, coconut shy, and craft stalls.

Entertainment continues in the evenings, with singing duo China Blue performing Saturday from 8:00 to 11:00 p.m., and a karaoke session hosted by Chris Wainright on Sunday from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m.

The event also supports charitable causes. Representatives from Guide Dogs for the Blind and the RNLI will be in attendance.

The park has been fundraising to name a guide dog and, due to the success of its efforts, is on track to fund two. The first dog has been named Tom, in honor of the late Thomas Wallace Snr., who passed away in January.

Janet Murray, General Manager of Pettycur Bay Holiday Park, said, “We are absolutely delighted once again to pull out all the stops to come up with a weekend of free, quality entertainment, and attractions, suitable for all the family.”

“The caravan show is always a real calendar highlight for us all on the park. We love to see the whole community turning out for this,” she continued.

“But most importantly, this is our biggest and best local day of the year, and a fantastic fundraiser to boot for our designated house charities. We look forward to welcoming everybody to this year’s caravan show.”

For professionals in the outdoor hospitality industry, events like this offer a model for integrating customer engagement with on-site sales.

Blending community programming with product showcases can help operators strengthen local ties, drive word-of-mouth marketing, and move inventory efficiently, particularly during transitional sales seasons.
