Parkers has introduced a dedicated campervan section on its website, offering expert reviews, buying guides, and practical advice to help consumers navigate.
The launch comes as demand for campervans in the UK continues to rise, driven by increased interest in both leisure travel and mobile living.
The new content hub includes 25 newly published or updated pages, all designed to provide clear, jargon-free guidance for buyers.
Coverage ranges from entry-level used vans to custom-built models costing more than £150,000, with insights aimed at first-time buyers and experienced owners alike.
Campervan specialist Graham King, a motoring journalist and vanlife enthusiast, has led the development of the new section. Drawing on his industry experience, King offers practical tips that address the challenges and opportunities of purchasing and owning a campervan.
According to a press release, search data shows campervan interest has multiplied eightfold over the past decade, with UK sales of new motor caravans rising 35% in 2024 to more than 16,000 units. Volkswagen accounted for nearly 5,000 of those sales.
The UK is now home to over 1.5 million campervan owners, with half under the age of 35. This younger demographic is helping to shape new trends, including growing interest in electrified campervans.
Parkers’ new section aims to simplify a market that can be difficult for buyers to understand. It covers everything from vehicle payload capacities and interior layouts to legal requirements, ensuring that users have access to essential, accurate information before making a purchase.
The site also addresses the needs of different types of buyers, from those seeking compact, car-based campers to those interested in large, long-wheelbase motorhomes. By offering clear comparisons, Parkers helps consumers match their purchase to their travel habits and budgets.
The platform emphasizes the importance of understanding key features and avoiding common pitfalls. Guidance includes how to assess a used van’s condition, which layouts best suit families, and what base vehicles work for specific needs.
Existing owners are also a focus, with resources on maintenance, upgrades, storage solutions, and trip planning. Parkers aims to make ownership more rewarding by helping users maximize the potential of their vehicles.
“Buying one can be overwhelming – there’s a lot of jargon, a lot of variation, and a lot of money at stake,” King said. “What we’ve done at Parkers is simplify that world and give people the confidence to buy the right van for them, whether it’s new or used.”
