Kampgrounds of America (KOA) has announced the addition of a new owner to its franchise network, with Brent Crosby acquiring the Manti-La Sal KOA Holiday.
Crosby, who brings over a decade of experience in real estate investing, enters the outdoor hospitality sector with a strong interest in outdoor recreation and family travel.
His decision to purchase the Utah-based campground was influenced by his personal ties to the region, noting that his grandmother grew up nearby.
Located near the Arapeen Trail system and Manti-La Sal National Forest, the Manti-La Sal KOA Holiday offers campers access to over 350 miles of ATV and UTV trails.
Its proximity to natural attractions has made the campground a popular destination for outdoor enthusiasts and families.
“I’ve always loved the challenge of real estate, but I wanted to do something that brought my family joy and created lasting memories for others, too,” said Crosby. “When the Manti-La Sal KOA Holiday came up for sale, I knew it was a special opportunity with its beautiful scenery, outdoor adventure, and a supportive brand I could trust.”
Under Crosby’s leadership, the campground is planning several additions to enhance the guest experience. Upcoming improvements include an ATV wash station, on-site ATV rentals, a dog wash, and a scenic fire pit area.
A new bathhouse expected to open in May will allow the reopening of 20 tent camping sites.
The campground currently features full-service RV sites with KOA patios, deluxe cabins with full bathrooms, and numerous recreational amenities, including a seasonal pool, arcade, basketball courts, Kamp K9 dog park, and a sculpture garden.
Located at 2903 S. 1700 E. in Mount Pleasant, the campground will operate year-round.
