MooVert, a French platform specializing in sustainable and authentic tourism, has been selected to join the official French delegation at French Tourism Days USA 2025.
The event, set to take place in Los Angeles and San Francisco in early June, is organized by France’s General Directorate for Enterprise (DGE) under the Ministry of Economy and Business France.
MooVert will also visit Washington, D.C., ahead of the main mission to engage with international tourism organizations and think tanks.
According to a press release, the startup is one of eight travel tech companies chosen to represent French tourism innovation during the mission. Its inclusion highlights France’s strategic push to promote eco-responsible travel experiences in global markets.
Founded three years ago, MooVert operates a multilingual marketplace that connects travelers and tourism professionals to off-the-beaten-path experiences across France.
It features over 500 eco-lodgings and 120 curated itineraries focused on sustainability and local culture, including truffle hunting in Occitanie, grape harvesting in Champagne, and traditional cheese-making in Île-de-France.
“MooVert was born from a desire to offer a new way to travel, one that respects the land, supports local craftsmanship and responds to travellers’ growing demand for authenticity and sustainability,” said Pier Tognazzini, founder of MooVert.
The platform includes real-time availability, multi-currency payments, and dynamic pricing, offering enhanced functionality for both travelers and industry professionals.
A key technological component of MooVert’s offering is its proprietary algorithm, developed in partnership with Green Key and the Bienvenue à la Ferme association. The tool identifies sustainable tourism providers and supports them through digital transformation and operational scaling.
