Mandai Wildlife Reserve to Launch Colugo Camp in Q3 2025

Mandai Wildlife Group has announced the upcoming launch of Colugo Camp, a new all-inclusive camping experience set to open in the third quarter of 2025 at Mandai Wildlife East.

Positioned as a more adventurous alternative to the forthcoming Mandai Rainforest Resort, Colugo Camp is designed to offer guests an immersive, nature-centric stay that complements existing overnight offerings at the Mandai Wildlife Reserve.

The new site will feature 20 safari-style tents, each accommodating up to four guests. Every 4-meter by 4-meter unit includes a queen bed and a bunk bed, catering particularly to families with children.

Each tent also has a private patio, offering views of the surrounding rainforest and the chance to experience the natural environment from the moment guests wake up.

Colugo Camp is an all-inclusive offering. Guests will receive two meals—dinner and breakfast—as part of the stay, along with park admission to Singapore Zoo, River Wonders, and Night Safari.

According to The Smart Local, communal amenities such as dining and shower facilities will also be available, balancing outdoor immersion with essential comforts.

Programming at Colugo Camp emphasizes education and connection with nature. The two-day, one-night (2D1N) itinerary begins at 3:00 p.m. on the first day and includes a series of guided tours and animal encounters running through 10:30 p.m.

The second day continues the wildlife-focused experiences with morning activities, concluding by 11:00 a.m. Guests must be aged three and above to participate.

The camp marks the first of two planned camping facilities within Mandai Wildlife Reserve and builds on the success of previous overnight experiences such as Glamping in the Wild and Glamping with the Penguins.

These initiatives are designed to deepen public engagement with wildlife through interactive and educational experiences.

For professionals in the outdoor hospitality and glamping sectors, the Colugo Camp initiative illustrates how conservation-focused attractions can successfully integrate glamping into their visitor offerings.

The project combines accommodation, education, and environmental immersion, demonstrating a scalable model for eco-friendly tourism that enhances guest engagement while supporting broader conservation goals.

Colugo Camp reflects a broader trend within the outdoor hospitality industry, where traditional boundaries between accommodation and attraction are increasingly blurred.

Operators and business owners in the space may find inspiration in how Mandai Wildlife Group has woven environmental storytelling and guest experience into a cohesive overnight package.
