A new RV park in Grand Junction is set to open, bringing 24 fully equipped spaces to a location just off Crossroads Boulevard. Horizon RV Park, located at the intersection of Compass Drive and Crossroads Boulevard, is expected to be fully operational by June.
The Wright family purchased the property in 2022 for approximately $425,000. At the time of purchase, the land was not intended to become an RV park.
According to a report, WesternSlopeNow spoke with the property owner, who said the land was not originally intended to become an RV park, but its proximity to the interstate, restaurants, and a fitness center made it a logical fit for that use.
The first 10 RV spaces also opened to guests in September 2024.
Horizon RV Park features a laundry room, three full bathrooms with showers, Wi-Fi, full hookups, and a dog park. It is also compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act, making it accessible to all guests regardless of mobility needs.
There are no restrictions on the size of RVs allowed at the park, highlighting the site’s flexibility to accommodate a range of vehicle types and sizes. Nightly rates are set at $65. Stays longer than a week come with a 10% discount, and monthly rates are available for those seeking extended stays.
Pets are also welcome on the property, and guests are asked to keep them leashed and clean up after them to maintain a safe and pleasant environment for all visitors.
An additional 14 spaces are set to open soon at Horizon RV Park. While the park currently does not offer pull-through spaces, they are expected to be available this spring.
