Go RVing Unveils ‘Just Beyond Your Door’ Campaign to Inspire RV Travel

Go RVing, the marketing arm of the RV industry, has unveiled its latest campaign, “Just Beyond Your Door,” aimed at encouraging more people to explore the freedom and adventure of RV travel. 

The initiative, developed in collaboration with creative agency BVK and produced by Covert and Gemini Films, positions RVing as an accessible way to experience authentic getaways closer than many might expect.

The campaign introduces a 30-second commercial that uses LED volume stage technology, the same technique employed in filming Disney’s “The Mandalorian.” 

This approach allowed the production team to capture varied landscapes across four seasons within a single shoot, completing the work in three days rather than the several weeks typically required for location-based filming.

“We understand that today’s travelers seek authentic experiences that allow them to unwind, connect with loved ones, and embrace the unexpected,” Karen Redfern, chief marketing officer for Go RVing, said in a News and Insights report of RVIA.

“RVing embodies this desire. Stepping into an RV opens the door to new adventures, whether it’s a quiet escape in nature or discovering a charming small town. ‘Just Beyond Your Door’ aims to show that this lifestyle is within reach,” Redfern added.

In addition to the television spot, “Just Beyond Your Door” will roll out across multiple platforms, including digital channels, streaming services, social media, print publications, influencer collaborations, and experiential events. 

Kevin Kriehn, chief creative officer at BVK, explained the concept behind the campaign’s imagery and message. 

“Opening an RV door became a symbol for the start of new experiences and the connections RV travel fosters. We’re pleased to partner with Go RVing to bring this vision to life and showcase the broad appeal of hitting the road with your home,” Kriehn noted.

Nick Litwinko, executive producer at Covert, also described how the campaign’s production strategy added to its impact. 

“Go RVing and BVK’s decision to use virtual production technology has resulted in a visually engaging campaign. The transitions between different landscapes effectively capture the sense of adventure that RVing offers,” he said.
