Snow Hill Glamping and Luxury Apartments is set to open in Scorton, Lancashire, on December 5. The site, located beneath the Nicky Nook landmark, combines accommodation in luxury apartments and glamping pods with views of the surrounding countryside.
Facilities include hot tubs and outdoor spaces designed to provide guests with a countryside experience while maintaining comfort and convenience.
The venture is led by founder Matt Follen, who described the concept as a retreat for relaxation and connection with nature. “Snow Hill has been created to give guests a place to exhale — to slow down, reconnect, and enjoy nature with a touch of luxury,” he said.
Snow Hill is also partnering with Luke Beastall, a fitness coach, and hair transformation specialist Danny Richo to support the WORK FOR IT series, a six-week wellness challenge. Participants engage in fitness and lifestyle training and conclude with a 10k run.
The site will provide a luxury stay as a prize for the challenge’s winning participant. “It’s important to support projects that genuinely uplift people,” Follen told the Lancaster Guardian. “Seeing how Luke and Danny are helping individuals change their lives made it an easy ‘yes.’ Offering a stay is our way of contributing to something bigger.”
For outdoor hospitality professionals, the development of Snow Hill illustrates several emerging trends in the sector. Combining glamping pods with more traditional apartment-style accommodations caters to a wider range of guests, from couples seeking short breaks to families requiring extended stays.
Additionally, partnerships with wellness initiatives demonstrate how accommodation providers can engage with local communities and lifestyle trends to increase brand visibility and customer engagement.
Bookings for Snow Hill are now open for arrivals from December 5, 2025. The site’s launch adds to the growing number of countryside destinations in the UK that emphasize experiential stays, wellness-focused offerings, and multi-format accommodation models.
