Salop Leisure Releases December Programme Across Love2Stay, Love Plants, and Love Coffee

Salop Leisure, a caravan and motorhome dealership based in Shrewsbury, Shropshire, has released its schedule of December events across its associated businesses, including the Love2Stay glamping and touring resort, the Love Plants garden centre, and the Love Coffee café and restaurant.

The company plans to run a series of seasonal activities designed for families and visitors throughout the month.

The programme begins with a Christmas Market at Love Plants on 6 and 7 December. The event will be held inside weather-protected polytunnels and will feature stalls offering handmade crafts, gifts, food, and drink.

According to the company, the market is intended to provide visitors with opportunities to support local makers and access a variety of holiday products.

At the nearby Love2Stay resort, guests will be able to follow a twilight trail running daily until 30 December, starting at 4:30 p.m. The experience includes illuminated displays and themed seasonal décor, with Salop Leisure positioning the attraction as an option for families staying on-site or visiting the region.

According to Out&About Live, Love2Stay will also host Santa’s grotto until 24 December, where children will be able to meet Santa and receive a gift.

Love Coffee, Salop Leisure’s café and restaurant, will offer festive afternoon teas from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. each day until 23 December, with prebooking required. The company expects the offering to attract both regular customers and families attending the resort’s seasonal activities.

In addition to the markets and on-site attractions, the Salop Santa Dash is scheduled to return on 6 December at 9 a.m. The five-kilometre event is open to runners and walkers and carries an entry fee of £18, which includes a Santa suit. According to the company, profits from the event will be donated to Severn Hospice.

For business owners in the outdoor hospitality sector, Salop Leisure’s integrated approach to seasonal programming demonstrates how multi-site operators can create engagement opportunities across retail, accommodation, and food-and-beverage operations.

The programme highlights how coordinated events can increase footfall and appeal to both staying guests and day visitors, particularly during shoulder-season periods when operators often seek additional revenue sources and community-focused promotion.
