Redline Campers, a campervan conversion company, is set to debut its new model based on the Ford Transit Custom at the Motorhome & Caravan Show in Birmingham from October 15 to 20.
The Redline GT, with a starting price of £58,995, will be showcased at Stand 40, Hall 11, offering attendees a glimpse into the latest innovations in campervan design. This model also serves as a precursor to the upcoming VW Transporter, the VW T7.
The new Ford Transit Custom and VW T7 share a common platform, as VW transitions away from its modular MQB architecture. This shift allows visitors to the show to experience the identical model that will be produced for both vehicles. Attendees can expect to see a range of advanced features in the Redline GT, designed to enhance comfort and usability for campers and travelers.
Among the key attributes of the Redline GT is its Thermo-Shield construction, which incorporates 8mm foil-backed foam and 25mm Dacron insulation to ensure optimal thermal efficiency. Additionally, the camper is equipped with Redline’s exclusive GRP twin-polycarbonate elevating roof, which includes a noise-reducing front roof spoiler, improving the overall travel experience.
Further enhancing its appeal, the Redline GT features a premium roof tent with twin mesh ventilation windows and a large front window, providing light and airflow for occupants. Lightweight, precision CNC-machined furniture adds to the modern aesthetic, while the inclusion of the RIB Altair 112 ISOFIX seating and bedding system ensures safety and comfort for families. The camper also boasts a pull-down upholstered double roof bed, which is paired with a memory foam mattress for restful sleep.
For convenience, the Redline GT is equipped with essential amenities such as a Dometic 12V fridge and a two-burner gas hob, making it a versatile option for outdoor cooking and storage. A 45-liter onboard water tank with an external filling point simplifies water access during adventures.
The power management system and wiring loom are compliant with BS EN1648 standards, which enhances the camper’s reliability and efficiency. Additionally, a 110Ah AGM leisure battery provides sufficient power for essential appliances during trips.
Redline Campers has already commenced taking orders for the Ford Transit Custom version of the Redline GT, with the VW T7 variant set to be available for order once production begins in 2025. This strategic planning aligns with the growing demand for high-quality campervan conversions in the leisure vehicle market.
Founded in 2017 as a campervan conversion brand, Redline Campers is a part of the award-winning Venture Caravans & Motorhomes.
The production facility near Daventry, Northamptonshire, operates under an ISO9001:2015 certified Quality Management System, ensuring that each campervan conversion meets rigorous quality standards.
