Redline Campers, a campervan conversion brand of Venture Caravans & Motorhomes, has relaunched its Classic campervan model, now starting at £34,995, to meet the demands of a broader market segment. The decision follows “customer feedback and a recognized gap in the market.” The Northamptonshire-based company aims to “reach a new section of the market with this VW T6.1 campervan conversion.”
The relaunch of the Classic is part of Redline’s broader strategy to offer more cost-effective options. Built on pre-owned base vehicles, the four-berth campervan will be produced at the company’s Watford Gap facility, adhering to its ISO 9001:2015 certified Quality Management System. Redline Campers is also an NCC-approved and VCA Type Approved manufacturer.
According to a press release, to achieve the lower price point, Redline Campers has streamlined its offering by limiting customization options. The classic model will feature two choices of cabinet colors, Driftwood or Carbon Ash, and worktop finishes, White or Black Sparkle.
The classic also maintains the same level of craftsmanship seen across Redline’s range, with features such as a RIB Altair 112 Bed with ISOFIX, premium kitchen storage, and 16” Clayton alloy wheels.
Additionally, the campervan includes appliances and components from industry suppliers like RIB Altair, Dometic, and BCA.
Mark Turley, director of Redline Campers, highlighted the significance of this reintroduction, noting that the Classic caters to customers seeking functionality and quality without the need for extensive customization.
“We are pleased to announce the reintroduction of the fantastic value Classic model to the Redline Campers range,” Turley said. “With the Classic back in our range and at a sub-£40,000 price point, we hope to make campervan ownership more achievable for a whole new section of the market.
“I’m proud that we have been able to take advantage of advancements in our production techniques, optimize the specification of this model, and deliver a vehicle that still meets the ISO 9001:2015 and VCA Type Approved standards we are renowned for,” Turley added.
