Plum Tree Glamping, located near Pershore, has been named Glamping Experience of the Year at the Central England Prestige Awards, held at the Moor Hall Hotel and Spa in Sutton Coldfield.
The recognition marks the second major accolade for the site in 2025, following its earlier win in March at the Worcestershire Tourism Awards, where it was named Best Camping, Glamping and Holiday Park of the Year.
Maggie Hall, owner of Plum Tree Glamping, expressed appreciation for the latest award. “Plum Tree Glamping is delighted to win The Central England Award for Glamping Experience of the Year,” she said.
“It shows we must be doing something right, especially as the award criteria are largely driven by customer feedback. It is good to be recognised for all the hard work and dedication we put into making the experience unique and memorable for our guests.”
The site has drawn attention for its environmentally conscious approach and low-density layout.
According to Hall, “What is really important is sustainability. Environmental sustainability and wildlife is very dear to our hearts. We have tried to make a back-to-nature experience by supplying a luxury glamping holiday with a low carbon footprint.”
Operating on seven acres of land with only four glamping units, Plum Tree Glamping offers a low-impact tourism model that emphasizes privacy and immersion in nature.
This setup allows guests to enjoy a sense of seclusion while still benefiting from high-end amenities. “Guests only need to bring food and clothes—everything from fresh flowers to fluffy towels and double beds are provided by us at no extra cost,” Hall told Worcester News.
For business owners in the outdoor hospitality sector, Plum Tree Glamping’s recognition may underscore the growing demand for sustainable, personalized guest experiences in rural settings.
Small-scale, high-quality operations that incorporate eco-conscious practices appear to be resonating with both customers and awarding bodies.
Looking ahead, Hall said, “Plum Tree Glamping looks forward to welcoming returning guests and new guests to enjoy our five-star hospitality, this amazing environment and to enjoy this beautiful part of Worcestershire.”
