Pembrokeshire Glamping Pod with £73K Annual Income to Be Auctioned This June

A luxury glamping pod located in Redberth Gardens near Tenby, Pembrokeshire, is set to be auctioned with a guide price of £45,000.

The property, offered through Paul Fosh Auctions, will be available during an online sale starting at 12 noon on Tuesday, June 24, and closing at 5 p.m. on Thursday, June 26.

Described as a high-end glamping option, the pod is situated in one of Wales’s most popular seaside areas.

While it diverges from traditional stone cottages or sea-view apartments, the property includes features aimed at providing both comfort and a unique holiday experience.

It can accommodate up to four people with one double bed and a sofa bed. The unit also includes a private shower room and a fully fitted kitchen.

According to Sean Roper from Paul Fosh Auctions, the site provides more than just accommodation.

“The glamping pod we have on offer is glitzy camping taken up a few notches to a completely different level,” he said to WalesOnline

“The pod, which is at Redberth, near the historic seaside resort of Tenby, in Pembrokeshire, is bursting with all you could possibly need for a luxury seaside break.”

Outside amenities include a private outdoor space equipped with furniture, a bar, a TV, a projector screen, a swing, a fridge, a pool table, a shower, and a free-standing bath.

There is also a fire pit and barbecue area. “This really is the business, and what’s more, it’s a real favourite with people on Instagram,” Roper added.

The property is being sold as a turnkey investment, with all furnishings and fittings included—both internal and external—such as the hot tub, bar, and pool table. It will be sold freehold with vacant possession.

In 2023, the pod generated a reported income of £73,522, with an income of £81,935 the year prior. The annual service charge for the property is £261.00.

For business owners in the outdoor hospitality industry, the sale represents an opportunity to evaluate the viability of compact, high-amenity units that appeal to travelers seeking unconventional stays.

The strong short-term rental performance indicates a continued market interest in glamping accommodations that are both social media-friendly and experience-oriented.

Operators considering expansion or diversification of their portfolio may find this model offers a practical return-on-investment case, especially in tourism-heavy coastal areas.
