Kingfisher Lakes in East Yorkshire has expanded its glamping offerings with the Lookout Lodge, a cabin-style accommodation designed for private, self-contained stays.
The lodge is positioned beside a lake and provides guests with a combination of indoor and outdoor amenities, including a king-size bed, en-suite bathroom, kitchenette, wood-fired hot tub, and decking with garden furniture.
The lodge operates year-round and accommodates infants under two, although pets are not permitted. A £100 security deposit applies at the time of booking.
The Lookout Lodge offers a compact kitchen with a gas hob, oven with microwave function, fridge, cafetière, and basic cookware and cutlery, allowing guests to prepare meals on-site.
Outdoor facilities include a private wood-fired hot tub with logs provided, as well as seating for two on the decking. WiFi is available in the communal areas of the site, but not directly in or around the lodge.
The site is positioned within walking distance of the village of Brandesburton, which provides amenities such as pubs, restaurants, a bakery, a petrol station, and recreational facilities. Local attractions include the Fosse Hill Jet Ski Centre, Bert’s Adventure Golf, and Dacre Lakeside Park.
Visitors can also explore Yorkshire’s east coastline, with Skipsea, Flamborough Head, Hornsea, and Fraisethorpe Beach accessible within a 20-minute drive. Beverley Racecourse and the historic market town of Beverley are also nearby, offering cultural and sporting activities.
Kingfisher Lakes emphasizes outdoor experiences, with woodland and lake walks, wildlife observation opportunities, and on-site kayak hire. The site is named for the local kingfishers that are commonly sighted around the lake.
For larger groups, Kingfisher Lakes provides additional glamping options, allowing operators to offer a range of accommodation types suitable for families, couples, or multi-generational groups.
