Hoburne Named a Top Holiday Park Provider by Which? for Second Year

Hoburne, a family-owned holiday park operator based in Dorset, has been named a Which? Recommended Provider for the second consecutive year, earning recognition for its service standards and value within the UK’s competitive holiday park sector.

The accolade comes as part of the 2025 Which? survey evaluating consumer satisfaction across the nation’s holiday parks, and follows Hoburne’s first inclusion on the list in 2024.

The annual survey, conducted by Which?, gathered feedback from both holiday park guests and holiday home owners. Participants rated providers on several criteria, including value for money, the quality of on-site amenities, customer service, cleanliness, and the standard of accommodation.

Hoburne received consistently high marks across these categories. Notably, the company was also reported to offer the most affordable price per night among the top five-rated businesses in the sector.

Hoburne operates nine holiday parks across the South West and South of England, with locations in Cornwall, Devon, Dorset, Somerset, Hampshire, and the Cotswolds.

In addition to its static accommodation and holiday home ownership opportunities, the company also provides touring pitch options at Blue Anchor, its coastal site near Minehead.

Company CEO Jim Forward acknowledged the role of staff and customers in securing the recognition.

“To win Which? Recommended Provider Status last year was a great achievement for the whole team. I just want to thank everyone who took part in the Which? survey and who expressed their appreciation to the extent that we’ve achieved this prestigious recognition for a second year,” he told Out & About Live

“Hoburne is a family business, and we understand the importance of providing quality, family time for the people who spend their precious holidays with us. Now the challenge is to go for the hat-trick next year.”

For outdoor hospitality professionals, Hoburne’s performance reinforces a key market trend: independently run parks are competing effectively with national chains by focusing on guest experience and value.

Operators seeking to differentiate themselves may benefit from prioritizing on-site facility quality, responsive service, and transparent pricing—factors highlighted in the Which? survey results.

Recognition from a consumer advocacy group such as Which? also offers a potential branding advantage in a crowded marketplace, especially for family-owned or regional businesses aiming to build trust and loyalty.
