A luxury glamping unit located in Redberth Gardens near Tenby, Pembrokeshire, has been listed for sale through South Wales-based Paul Fosh Auctions as part of the company’s May property auction.
Described by auctioneer Sean Roper as a high-end example of glamping accommodations, the “moonlight dome tent” is being offered with a guide price of £36,000-plus.
The dome, which is designed to host up to four guests, includes a double bed and a sofa bed. It features a private shower room and a fully equipped kitchen.
The exterior amenities include a private decking area furnished with outdoor seating, a sunken seating area with a projector screen and swing, an ice barrel, a pizza oven, and a fire pit with BBQ.
According to a report by Pembrokeshire Herald, the property also boasts a sunken hot tub and comes fully furnished, both inside and out.
“This turn key investment is being sold with all internal and external furniture and fittings including a quite awesome sunken hot tub,” Roper said.
“The property is fully managed and what’s more there are onward bookings. As an example of what can be achieved with bookings for the moonlight dome tent last year generated £51,426.”
The glamping pod is one of more than 80 properties being auctioned by Paul Fosh Auctions in its upcoming sale, which begins at 12 noon on Tuesday, May 20, and concludes from 5 p.m. on Thursday, May 22.
For outdoor hospitality business owners, this listing highlights the revenue potential of well-appointed glamping accommodations in desirable tourism locations.
With over £51,000 in bookings reported for the previous year, the unit demonstrates a return that could appeal to those looking to diversify income streams or expand into the high-end glamping segment.
Additionally, the sale includes a management structure and future bookings, offering a ready-to-operate opportunity.
