Nestled in the middle of Yorkshire Dales National Park between Skipton and Grassington (United Kingdom) is Coxons Farm, a fifth-generation family-owned sheep and beef farm.

It is situated on the edge of the tiny village of Cracoe, which as well as the farm, has an award-winning pub, highly-rated cafes, a farm shop, and a garden center.

According to a report, the farm is managed by John and Julie Carlisle with their son Tom. Tom came up with diversifying into holiday accommodations which resulted in two pods that have everything you need for an overnight stay at a comfortable location.

There are currently two bespoke state-of-the-art pods, Elbolton and Skelterton, that sleep two as standard, with space for up to two children. It also has a double bed, sofabed, kitchenette, living area, an en-suite bathroom, underfloor heating, and hot shower. They make for a cozy base.

A partition between the double bed and sofa and a table in the lounge area, plus a calming decor of wood and light teal with throws and cushions, make this an ideal space for couples or young families.

The ensuite bathroom at the back of the pod contains a sink and shower, with Cole and Lewis toiletries. There’s TV and wifi but sitting on the decking watching the sheep and cows graze amid the beautiful rolling Dales scenery is hard to beat.

It’s an outdoor lover’s paradise that offers walking, climbing, food, and cycling destinations for all ability levels and palates.

Cycling enthusiasts will enjoy cycling along the Way of the Roses route, which is a 170-mile coast to coastline path from Morecambe to Bridlington that runs through the village.

Meanwhile, climbers can take a trip to Malham Cove, a huge amphitheater that measures 260 feet and has a total of 280 climbs with all levels set in a fantastic setting. There are plenty of walks at Malham too, with its limestone pavement, Goredale Scar, and Janet’s Foss reputed to be the home of the queen of the fairies—all worth a visit.
