Erwlon Caravan & Camping Park in Llandovery has been named a finalist in the Best Caravan Park category at the Welsh Hospitality Awards 2025.
The park joins six other shortlisted sites across Wales, with the winner set to be announced during the awards ceremony on September 10.
The event, organised by Oceanic Events, aims to recognise and celebrate outstanding contributions to the Welsh hospitality sector.
Erwlon Caravan & Camping Park has received consistent positive feedback from visitors and currently holds an average rating of 4.5 out of 5 on Tripadvisor. A review posted in June 2025 by a guest who stayed with a large group highlighted several aspects of the park’s appeal.
“Spent the weekend here with family and friends. Booked 6 pitches with 17 children of various ages and 10 adults,” the review began.
“The owners were so friendly and welcoming, and the site was quiet, clean, spacious, and had everything we needed, toilet block, washing up block, hire fire pits with pellets, etc.”
According to the South Wales Guardian, the guest also noted the site’s proximity to local amenities, describing it as “perfect,” with easy access to shops, takeaways, and pubs.
The reviewer added that the group’s children enjoyed full days of play and activities such as sports day games, rounders, rugby, making s’mores, and playing bingo, describing the experience as a “fantastic weekend.”
