Cotswold Farm Park Holidays has opened bookings for the 2025 season, offering a range of accommodations designed to attract visitors to the Cotswolds countryside.
The park, operated by farmer and television presenter Adam Henson, provides various lodging options, from traditional camping and motorhome pitches to glamping tents and self-catering lodges, with prices starting at £25.95 per night.
A key feature of the holiday experience at Cotswold Farm Park is complimentary entry to the farm, which houses over 50 rare and native breeds of British farm animals.
According to a press release, the site also includes modern amenities, on-site dining, and seasonal events, making it an attractive destination for families, couples, and groups seeking a countryside getaway.
For outdoor hospitality operators, the park serves as a model of diversification within the industry. By integrating farm experiences with accommodation offerings, Cotswold Farm Park creates a value-added stay that encourages longer visits and repeat bookings.
The ability to provide an immersive, interactive experience differentiates the park from standard campgrounds and hotels, offering insights into how agritourism and glamping can drive revenue.
Live lambing, taking place until April 27, is among the early-season attractions, allowing guests to witness births, participate in bottle-feeding sessions, and engage with newborn lambs.
Special Easter activities, including farm-themed workshops and seasonal trails, will run from April 5 to 27.
Summer programming includes the Flower Festival, showcasing Adam Henson’s wildflower seeds, and Wildscape, an initiative designed to enhance guests’ connection with nature.
The accommodation options cater to different guest preferences. The six Songbird Safari Glamping Tents offer a blend of comfort and outdoor living, featuring private bathrooms, an outdoor deck, and space for up to five guests.
Larger groups can opt for the Sunflower Safari Lodge, which sleeps seven and includes a private hot tub and log burner.
The dog-friendly Sunset Lodges, constructed from local materials, provide self-catering accommodations with wood-fired hot tubs and private decks overlooking the countryside. A lodge with enhanced accessibility features, including a wet room, is also available.
For those preferring traditional camping, the park offers electric and non-electric pitches, as well as spaces for caravans and motorhomes with essential hook-ups and water points.
Camping pods provide an alternative for visitors who want the camping experience without sleeping in a tent, equipped with electric sockets, heating, and seating.
“Cotswold Farm Park Holidays welcomes couples and families alike, as well as four-legged friends in certain accommodation offerings so the whole household can enjoy a Cotswold break,” the park stated.
Guests have access to The Ox Shed, the park’s restaurant, which serves meals throughout the day and hosts live music events.
A gift shop stocked with local products and essentials is also available. Farm activities include hands-on interactions with animals, play areas, and tractor rides, making it a destination for both relaxation and entertainment.
The Cotswold Farm Park model highlights a growing trend in the outdoor hospitality industry—blending accommodation with experiential offerings to create a unique, marketable destination.
Operators looking to enhance guest engagement and increase occupancy may benefit from similar strategies that incorporate local attractions, farm experiences, or interactive elements into their business models.
