Brook Meadow, a 20-acre glamping and camping site located on a working farm in Sibbertoft, Leicestershire, has announced a new summer programme for 2025 that blends wellness activities, creative workshops, family-friendly events, and two major new offerings: a lakeside Wild Sauna & Plunge Experience and a charity music festival called Sibberstock.
The multi-award-winning destination is expanding its appeal beyond overnight guests by offering several activities to day visitors through a site entry fee.
The newly introduced Wild Sauna & Plunge Experience is available on Fridays and Saturdays throughout July, August, and early September.
Tucked into the lakeside woodland, the Nordic-inspired setup includes a wood-fired sauna, a cold water plunge, and a seating area set beneath designer parasols. Claire Hart, owner of Brook Meadow, is credited with bringing a boutique aesthetic to the area.
“From the calming pastel parasols and chic sun loungers to the pretty touches that make the entire lakeside feel like a boutique European resort,” said Hart. Sauna sessions are priced at £20 per person and can be booked through The Wild Sauna Club.
On 13 September 2025, the venue will host its first Sibberstock festival, a music and food event featuring over 15 local bands and a variety of culinary offerings including wood-fired pizza, hog roast, and vegan dishes.
Proceeds from ticket sales will go to three Sibbertoft-based charities. Tickets are included for those staying in certain accommodations, and can also be added to other bookings. Prices range from £12.50 for adults to free entry for children under 3.
Brook Meadow’s summer calendar also includes yoga classes by the lake, massage therapy sessions, reflexology, flower crown making, and botanical printing workshops.
Most activities are scheduled on select dates in July and August. For example, yoga sessions led by Megan Gilbride will take place every Saturday from 2 August through 6 September, priced at £9.99 per session.
A full-day wellness event is planned for 2 August, with sunrise yoga, massages, and holistic treatments available.
To further engage families, Brook Meadow is introducing several weekend attractions during the school holidays.
These include Dog Show Saturdays on 16 and 30 August, eco-friendly hen house visits for children, pond dipping and lake fishing under adult supervision, 4×4 off-road experiences at the nearby Avalanche Adventure, and Saturday movie nights at the on-site Cowshed Cinema.
Food pop-ups will offer casual dining options such as gyros, wood-fired pizza, and artisan cocktails.
Accommodation options vary from the Marabou Safari Lodge, starting at £145 per night for two people, to camping pitches ranging from £26 to £36 per night.
Day passes for non-residents are available for £4 per person, which grants access to many of the site’s activities, according to Harborough Mail.
For owners and operators in the outdoor hospitality sector, Brook Meadow’s 2025 programme illustrates a model for blending traditional camping with curated experiences, wellness services, and local partnerships.
The combination of diversified income streams, seasonal programming, and day-visitor access can serve as a case study in how to extend the appeal of a site beyond overnight stays.
