BrackenXcapes, a glamping site located in North Muskham, has partnered with Into The Forest Events to provide guests with a range of outdoor activity experiences, including archery, axe-throwing, crossbow use, and air rifle shooting.
The collaboration is part of BrackenXcapes’ new summer “Stay and Play” initiative, which offers these experiences as complimentary add-ons for guests staying at the site’s cottage, pods, or lodges.
The nine-acre site, which opened four years ago after a rewilding project by owners Nigel and Laura Catt, continues to expand its offering in an effort to enhance the guest experience.
According to owner Nigel Catt, the goal is to strike a balance between relaxation and recreation, giving visitors a variety of ways to enjoy their stay.
“We are delighted to be working with ‘Into The Forest Events’, who now allow us to offer some fantastic onsite activities whilst guests stay on our nine-acre site here in North Muskham,” Catt said.
“We are constantly working on adding to our guests’ experience here at BrackenXcapes, from the scenery they can enjoy through to activities when staying.”
According to a report published by the Newark Advertiser, guests can choose to relax in hot tubs under the stars or take part in the new adventure-style offerings. The venue also hosts events throughout the year, with one of its largest scheduled for Saturday, September 13.
The “Summer Shakedown” music festival will feature live performances by The Street Hawks, Beggars Belief, and The Soul Solution, along with themed competitions such as giant sausage and chili eating contests.
For professionals in the outdoor hospitality industry, BrackenXcapes’ evolving model highlights how strategic partnerships and diversified offerings can increase guest engagement and improve occupancy rates.
By bundling activities with accommodation, sites can provide added value, differentiate themselves in a competitive market, and appeal to a growing segment of experience-driven travelers.
