Several businesses across the Peak District, Derbyshire, and Derby have been recognized for excellence at the 2025 Peak District, Derbyshire & Derby Tourism Awards.
The annual event celebrates top performers in regional tourism, highlighting standout achievements in guest experience, accessibility, innovation, and overall service.
The awards, organized by Visit Peak District & Derbyshire, aim to promote high standards and innovation across the tourism and hospitality sector.
Among this year’s honorees, Pub Tours Ltd of the Peak District received the Gold award for Experience of the Year, an accolade recognizing immersive and memorable visitor activities.
The company’s success builds on a strong showing in 2024, where it received Bronze in the same category and Silver for New Tourism Business. Other winners in the category included Thornbridge Hall House Tours (Silver) and Drive Dad’s Car in Ambergate (Bronze).
The Accessible and Inclusive Tourism Award went to Matlock Farm Park, recognized for its commitment to creating memorable experiences for visitors with accessibility needs.
Silver and Bronze went to Miller’s Dale Station and Peak Edge Hotel in Chesterfield, respectively.
A representative from Matlock Farm Park expressed gratitude, stating, “So delighted to have won GOLD in the Accessible & Inclusive award. Thank you so much to everyone who visits and supports us—we are so grateful you choose our farm park as a place to make your memories.”
For accommodation providers, B&B and Guest House of the Year was awarded to The Yorkshire Bridge Inn in Bamford, with Sheldon House of Monyash and The Bull’s Head in Foolow receiving Silver and Bronze.
A statement from The Yorkshire Bridge Inn read, “We’re delighted that we won an amazing collection of awards…Congratulations to everyone nominated—it was a great celebration of our wonderful region.”
A notable win for the outdoor hospitality sector came in the Camping, Glamping & Holiday Park of the Year category, according to Derbyshire Life.
Boutique Camping at Scaldersitch Farm in Sheen received the Gold award, recognized for its high-quality glamping offerings and dedication to guest comfort.
The judges noted the site’s “wonderful location to get closer to nature without sacrificing comfort,” adding that it is “a real asset and attraction to the accommodation offer in Derbyshire.”
Darwin Forest Lodges (Matlock) and 3Trees Glamping (Wirksworth) followed with Silver and Bronze.
3Trees Glamping made a second appearance among the winners, securing Gold in the New Tourism Business of the Year category, which highlights ventures operating for under two years.
“We dreamt it, we built it, we opened it and we love it…we’ve created something special that we’re proud of,” said the business in a statement. The Cupola Café in Stoney Middleton and The Ashford Arms in Ashford in the Water were awarded Silver and Bronze.
