Auto-Trail has announced several updates across its 2026 campervan lineup, including new models in the Expedition range and a fresh entry-level compact campervan.
According to an article by Out & About Live, the company confirmed that prices will remain unchanged from 2025, meaning only the new models carry new price tags.
Across the board, all campervans now feature a removable carpet for easier cleaning, soft-close upper locker doors, and two new table styles with integrated cup holders, tailored for whether or not a pop-top roof is installed.
From a technical standpoint, every 2026 Auto-Trail campervan will come equipped with a three-stage charging unit, with the option of a 100Ah lithium battery.
Expedition models use a four-inch touchscreen control panel, while the V-Line and Adventure ranges are fitted with seven-inch versions.
A 70Ah AGM battery is standard, and most models feature a 200W solar panel, with shorter 5.40m models fitted with a 120W unit.
Medium-wheelbase versions also benefit from a relocated water heater, freeing up under-seat storage space. Tank sizes are now standardized across all models.
The Expedition range sees the most significant changes. All Expedition models can now be ordered with options such as a reversing camera with a nine-inch screen, a Thule bike rack, and a TV aerial with 12V coaxial socket.
The Expedition 66 now offers a U-shaped lounge configuration, while a brand-new Expedition 54 joins the lineup.
The 5.4m model, priced at £52,595, features a rear lounge that converts into a double bed, alongside a kitchen, washroom, and wardrobe.
In the Expedition 68, the sink has been repositioned to extend the nearside bed and add storage for a pop-top ladder and hanging rail.
Two new models, the 68 XL and 68 XL Flex, are priced at £57,563 and £59,363.
The XL version allows sleeping lengthways or across the van with an extended bed accommodating individuals up to 6ft 3in tall, while the XL Flex includes an electric drop-down rear bed with adjustable storage space below.
The V-Line range also receives updates, including the new San Marco wood finish across all models.
V-Line Sport versions (610, 635, 636) now have a larger rear boot and come with a Panoview skylight as standard.
The V-Line 635 SE has been redesigned to move the microwave behind the driver’s seat, opening up more kitchen storage and counter space.
Meanwhile, the flagship Adventure range gets subtler refinements, including a new Thetford oven and grill, black reading lights with USB charging points, and the updated upholstery scheme shared with other 2026 models.
Auto-Trail’s refreshed lineup and new entry-level campervan options highlight how manufacturers are adapting to customer demand for affordability, innovation, and enhanced comfort in compact models, further expanding accessibility to vanlife and outdoor travel experiences.
