The 37th edition of the International Caravanning Show concluded this after nine days of activity, attracting more than 60,000 visitors to Fira de Barcelona’s Gran Via venue.
The event drew a predominantly family audience and younger travelers interested in camper vans and nature-based tourism.
Organized by Fira de Barcelona with support from the Spanish Association of the Caravanning Industry and Commerce (ASEICAR) and the Gremi d’Empresaris del Caravaning de Catalunya (GREMCAR), the show featured 180 companies and over 700 models from top brands, offering the country’s largest selection of caravanning products and services.

According to an on-site survey, more than 70% of attendees expressed strong interest in purchasing a vehicle, underscoring the event’s role in driving sector sales.
Compact and integrated vehicles topped the list of popular models, with 75% of potential buyers favoring motorhomes and camper vans, while 25% preferred traditional caravans.
According to a press release, José Manuel Jurado, president of ASEICAR and co-president of the Organizing Committee, said the 2025 edition reflected the industry’s momentum.
“This edition has confirmed the strength and maturity of the sector, not only because of the excellent response of the public, but also because of the business dynamism it has shown. Caravaning has ratified its role as a strategic platform for the sector,” Jurado said.

Susana Colom, president of GREMCAR and co-president of the Committee, also highlighted the growing enthusiasm among younger demographics.
“The event has reflected how this way of travelling is gaining strength among the new generations, consolidating the show as a meeting point for those looking for vehicles, accessories, novelties and sharing experiences with other enthusiasts,” Colom said.

Nearly half of attendees showed particular interest in orientation and learning areas, such as the Travelvaning space, which hosted talks on transforming conventional vehicles into campers and explored current trends in itinerant tourism.
The advisory area also drew significant attention from first-time visitors seeking guidance on vehicle selection, rental versus purchase decisions, and key technical considerations for various travel styles.
Seasoned travelers focused their attention on regulatory updates concerning traffic laws, overnight stays, and camping, as well as on emerging technologies designed to improve comfort and sustainability. Innovations such as home automation systems, solar panels, and resource-efficient accessories drew consistent interest throughout the event.
The next International Caravanning Show will take place from October 16 to 24, 2027, at Fira de Barcelona’s Gran Via venue.
