The elevated camping experience is Maya Sports and Recreation Centre’s latest offering. The outdoor center collaborated with Kranj-based BIGHEAD Tents to provide multiple glamping tents for outdoor enthusiasts who want a break from pitching their tents when they’re already tired from a day of exploration.
Glamping Labrca is situated next to the beautiful Soca River and features luxury tent accommodations that have been designed to provide guests with all the comforts of home, while still being able to experience nature.
There are currently two kinds of offerings: a standard tent with covered veranda, double bed, bed linen, bedside table, bedside table lights, electrical sockets, wifi, portable heating, and more. The second is a premium tent that comes with everything a standard tent has, but with a couch and small refrigerator for added convenience.
About a hundred meters away is a common area with showers and toilets as well as an equipped kitchen and a parking area.
After a night of comfortable slumber, campers wake up with nature at the site as they are greeted by rustling leaves and the breath of fresh air. Surrounding each tent is grass ever so green, quenched by the morning dew. The majestic mountain view at Glamping Labrca is also something to look forward to.
With a good night’s sleep accommodated by the comfortable bed, guests leave rested and recharged, ready to take on a range of activities for the day.
When visiting, a plethora of activities to do include rafting, kayaking, canyoning, going on a biking trip, and more. Because the glamping offering is part of the sports and recreation center, glampers can rent various sports equipment.
Foodies will also enjoy their stay. They can visit Gostilna Labrca, known for its excellent local delicacies, pizzas, burgers, and grilled dishes.
