On Monday last week, Nissan has revealed the Primastar “Seaside by Dethleffs” custom campervan—the perfect rig for summer RVing on European roads.

Designed in partnership with Dethleffs, RVers have everything they need for fun-filled outdoor escapes—from an interior cabin that can accommodate a family of six to user-friendly appliances, on-board connectivity, and infotainment tech.
The all-new camper is based on the new Primastar van. The intelligent design is compact on the outside and spacious inside, providing comfort, practicality, and reliability to keep travel plans rolling, rain or shine.
“The Primastar ‘Seaside by Dethleffs’ offers intrepid travelers the comforts of home in a comprehensive package for the road. Our partners at Dethleffs bring over 90 years of expertise in campervan conversion. Combining this with the Primastar’s robust design and Nissan‘s industry-leading five-year warranty, together we’ve created a truly compelling proposition for summer holiday plans in Europe,” said Emmanuelle Serazin, LCV & Corporate Sales Director, Nissan Europe.
Home comforts on the move
The Primastar “Seaside by Dethleffs” is built from the wheels-up to bring the feeling of home to the open road. The campervan has a highly-versatile cabin with flexible seating arrangements. There are up to six single seats. Four seats can be individually positioned or removed without tools. Owners can swivel the front seats and deploy an adjustable dining table to transform the space into a dining arena.

Enhancing the dining experience further, the campervan offers a 36-liter refrigerator and two-burner gas cooker, while additional storage space and easy-to-clean surfaces make tidying up as easy as summer breeze.
RVers can settle down for the night in four individual sleeping compartments – two of which are positioned in the large pop-up roof, which can be opened for fresh air and star-gazing.
Seaside by Dethleffs comes with plenty of storage options with wardrobe space and an expansive roof box, making packing up easy before hitting the road again.

Efficient power and accessible technology
Based on the Tekna-grade Primastar panel van, the Primastar campervan is also fully-equipped for long journeys.
The model provides all the power needed to transport travelers with confidence, offering an efficient 2.0-liter engine with the option of either 150hp or 170hp depending on customer needs.
The flexibility of choice also extends to the gearbox; customers can choose between a seamless six-speed automatic transmission or a manual gearbox for a more engaged drive.
A comprehensive suite of convenient technology features is also offered in the cabin, including cruise control with speed limiter and blind-spot assist. Complemented by infotainment with a navigation system, 8-inch touchscreen, and DAB radio, the campervan offers the functionality to bring more confidence and comfort to long holiday drives.
